Paint a Chair Railing

Chair rail moldings are attractive accents that can add detail to any room of your home. Allow the molding to dry before you continue. Fourthly, brush on an even coat of interior primer with a sash brush. Allow the paint to dry for at least four hours. Fifthly, apply a top coat of interior paint. Select a color that is slightly lighter or darker than the wall color to give the chair rail molding an accented color within the room. Allow the paint to dry for 24 hours. Peel the masking tape from the walls carefully.
